Tokoh Penyumbang Pembangunan Roket 2

Berikut sedikit sambungan catatan mengenai usaha awal dalam membangun roket. Antara tokoh yang dikaitkan dengan usaha tersebut adalah:

1. Max Valier - meninggal dunia pada 1930 kemalangan tragik susulan usaha eksperimen roket.

2. Hermann Oberth - ahli fizik kelahiran Rumania. In 1912 he studied medicine at Munich Uni. Then work in army during the first world war. After the war Oberth continued his study but this time in mathematics and physics. He submitted his thesis in 1922 but was rejected by his supervisor. Oberth anyway published his work. Valier started communicate with Oberth in 1924.

3. Fritz von Opel, owner of Opel automobile industry funded Valier experiment on rocket using Opel as vehicle powered by rocket. The vehicle is named Opel-Sander Rak 1.

4. Alexander Lippisch, a sail-plane designer joined the experiment team in 1928.
