Another Halal McD
Well it is quite sometime since my last entry.. almost five months back. There are plenty of reasons of why it was.. Flipping through news here and there I found out that there is a new halal McD opened up at Southall branch in London. The halal branch was started business on May 1 ago. But as was the cases elsewhere it was not without protest. Read about it here and here. Another report is here.
Having McD meals in M'sia are great. It's all halal!

In Morocco every McDonald's is Halal.
Thanks to mckroes for the info. your extensive travels really inspired me..
The McDonalds in Southall is certified by the HFA. It does not meet the HMC criteria.
So whether it is halal or not is debatable.
The mosque in front of McDonalds does consider it to be halal.
The chickens are stunned first - "stun to stun". The slaughter is carried out by automated machinary.
