Tesis Nizam-i Jedid Period Selim III (1789-1807)

Usaha Selim III melakukan reform dalam sistem ketenteraan Ottoman adalah suatu yang kontroversial. Ada sebuah tesis yang memfokus tentang usaha tersebut. Tesis bertajuk "The New Order and Its Enemies: Opposition to Military Reform in the Ottoman Empire, 1789 - 1807". Tesis phd oleh Kadir Ustun, University of Columbia pada 2013.
