Masjid St Petersburg Russia

 

St Petersburg adalah sebuah kota di Russia. Terdapat sebuah masjid di St Petersburg dengan kapasiti boleh memuat 5,000 jemaah. Rekabentuk binaan Masjid St Petersburg menyerupai bangunan Gur-e-Amir (binaan makam Tamerlane), Samarkand. Masjid St Petersburg mula dibina pada 1910 dan mula diguna pakai pada 1913. Ianya yang siap dibina sepenuhnya pada 1921. Namun Arkitek Masjid St Petersburg, Nikolai Vasilyev, sememangnya membina masjid SP mengguna rekabentuk Gur-e-Amir (baca wiki).
